We will process identification and contact details of (potential) Leadlife service partners that were provided to us by the partners in question or made publicly available by the partners, including via social media channels. 

Finally, we use cookies to collect information about your use of our Website.


As an applicant, your curriculum vitae, and your identification and contact details in order to include you in the application process. 


Why do we collect this information?

LEADLIFE primarily collects and processes your Personal Data to ensure its services are provided correctly. 

We also process your Personal Data:

  • To keep you informed about our activities via the LEADLIFE newsletter;
  • To improve our Website;

LEADLIFE does NOT process Personal Data to diagnose and/or treat disorders or diseases in that regard.

LEADLIFE TECHNOLOGIES, (hereinafter ‘We’, ‘Us’, ‘Our’, ‘LEADLIFE’), a private company under Belgian law, with registered office at Zwaanhofweg 10, 8900 Ypres, registered in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under company number 0834.079.442, assumes the responsibility to process your Personal Data as ‘Controller’, including the use of the LEADLIFE Website (www.leadlife.com) (hereinafter: ‘Website’).

    1. This Website Privacy Statement may be revised from time to time. The most recent version can be found on Our Website. When We make changes, we will notify you of these changes via Our Website.

    1. The term ‘Personal Data’ in our Website Privacy Statement means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. LEADLIFE may collect, use, share or otherwise process Personal Data from individuals who fall into one of the following categories:

    Application data is processed by LEADLIFE to evaluate your application and implement a recruitment policy. Depending on the specific circumstances, some of these processing activities will be necessary for the execution of the agreement we are considering entering into with you. Others will be necessary to pursue our legitimate interests related to improving our recruitement policies and process. Finally, where required by law, we will seek your prior consent before processing certain of your personal data. 



    3.2 Direct marketing

    When you visit and/or use the Website, your Personal Data may be used for direct marketing purposes, based on Leadlife's legitimate interest and in accordance with this Website Privacy Statement. This allows LEADLIFE to inform you, through its newsletter, LEADLIFE package, emails, letters by mail and other media, about similar products and services that LEADLIFE offers. 


    Even if you do not visit or use the Website, the Personal Data you have made publicly available may be used for direct marketing purposes, based on LEADLIFE's legitimate interest and in accordance with Article 14 GDPR and this Website Privacy Statement. This allows LEADLIFE to inform you, through its newsletter, LEADLIFE package, emails, letters by mail and other media, about the products and services LEADLIFE offers, which may interest you as a (Potential) Partner.

    LEADLIFE treats Personal Data as confidential information and will not disclose or communicate them to third parties under any circumstance or for any purpose other than those set out in this Website Privacy Statement, or under the terms mandated by law.


    LEADLIFE may disclose your Personal Data to third parties to the extent necessary to carry out Our business activities, including but not limited to suppliers and service providers that offer services related to IT support, hosting, computer security or other specific services. These third parties will NOT disclose your Personal Data to other third parties, except in the following situations:

    • If communicating your Personal Data to their suppliers or subcontractors is necessary to carry out their business activities;
    • Such third parties are required by the applicable laws and regulations to provide certain information or documents to the competent authorities.

    In order to perform its services, LEADLIFE must share your Personal Data with its processors or suppliers, for example in the context of maintenance and support.


    LEADLIFE will not sell, lease or distribute your Personal Data or otherwise make them commercially available to third parties, except as provided for in this Website Privacy Statement, or subject to your explicit prior consent.  


    In the event of a total or partial reorganization or transfer of LEADLIFE's activities in which LEADLIFE reorganizes, merges or transfers its activities, terminates its business activities or if LEADLIFE is declared bankrupt, your Personal Data may be transferred to new entities or third parties. LEADLIFE makes every reasonable effort possible to inform you in advance of any transfer of your Personal Data to a third party.

    In exceptional circumstances, We may be required to disclose your Personal Data as a result of a court order or to comply with other mandatory laws or regulations. We will make every reasonable effort to inform you about this in advance, unless this is subject to legal restrictions.


    Article 4 - DURATION OF THE PROCESSING


    LEADLIFE will keep your Personal Data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes set out in Article 3 of this Website Privacy Statement, including for as long as is necessary for the contractual relationship between you and LEADLIFE. 


    LEADLIFE may also store your Personal Data to comply with legal requirements, including requirements to continue retaining your Personal Data after termination of the contractual relationship between you and LEADLIFE. This includes applicable limitation periods for billing, payment, accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance. The retention periods set out below may be waived if such a legal obligation applies.

    You also have the right to ask LEADLIFE to delete your data insofar as We are unable to anonymize them, unless We are obliged to keep them due to a legal obligation.

    LEADLIFE takes the protection of your Personal Data seriously and takes appropriate technical, organizational and physical measures to prevent destruction, loss, falsification, alteration, unauthorized access or accidental disclosure of your data to a third party, as well as unauthorized processing of this data. 

     

    Should We nevertheless determine that your Personal Data has been breached, resulting in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, LEADLIFE will inform you of the breach that occurred, including a description of the potential impact and a recommendation to limit the possible negative consequences of the breach.


    LEADLIFE cannot be held liable, however, for any direct or indirect damage resulting from an incorrect or unlawful use of your Personal Data by a party other than LEADLIFE.


    At the same time, you are also jointly responsible for maintaining your privacy, for example by not giving third parties access to your confidential communications. 



    Article 7 – APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION


    This Website Privacy Statement shall be governed, construed and implemented in accordance with Belgian law, which shall exclusively apply. 


    The courts of the jurisdiction of East Flanders, department of Ghent, have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any dispute that may arise from the interpretation or execution of this Website Privacy Statement.
