This Statement applies to any individual from whom LEADLIFE may collect, use, share or otherwise process Personal Data and more specifically, individuals who make a purchase of Leadlife Products, Services and Courses through the LEADLIFE Webshop.
What information do we collect about you?
LEADLIFE collects your identity, contact and payment information when you make purchases within the LEADLIFE Webshop.
Why do we collect this information?
LEADLIFE collects and processes your Personal Data primarily to provide you with the correct execution of its services.
We also process your Personal Data:
- To facilitate your purchase;
- To process your payment;
- To be able to contact you;
- To keep you informed of our activities via the LEADLIFE newsletter.
Under no circumstances does LEADLIFE process Personal Data to diagnose and/or treat conditions or diseases in that regard.
Who has access to your Personal Data?
- Only the part of the LEADLIFE team that needs your data to provide the services.
- Furthermore, there are a number of suppliers and service providers who offer services to LEADLIFE and to you with regard to (IT) support, maintenance, hosting, computer security or other specific services, who may have access to certain Personal Data. These parties are at all times required by law to guarantee your privacy and will only process the Personal Data in accordance with our purposes.
- We only share your Personal Data with Leadlife BV and with the relevant Leadlife Partner(s), to the extent that you have purchased (a) Product(s), Service(s) and/or Course(s) from Leadlife BV or a Leadlife Partner.
What rights do you have?
- You can ask LEADLIFE at any time to view, correct or delete your Personal Data. You can do this by sending an e-mail to privacy@leadlife.com and following the procedure as described in Article 5.7 of the full Webshop Privacy Statement.
- You can also request a copy of all the information we have collected about you at any time by sending an email to the same address.
What do we do to protect your Personal Data?
- LEADLIFE takes appropriate security measures at a technical and organizational level.
- In order to improve our services, LEADLIFE may use your data. Nevertheless, LEADLIFE will always use this data in a form that complies with the GDPR, using advanced software and solutions.

Article 1 – GENERAL
- LEADLIFE TECHNOLOGIES, (hereinafter “ We ”, “ Us ”, “ Our ”, “ LEADLIFE ”), a private limited company under Belgian law, with registered office at Zwaanhofweg 10, 8900 Ieper, registered in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under company number 0834.079.442, assumes responsibility for processing your Personal Data as “Controller”, including the use of the LEADLIFE Webshop [LINK WEBSHOP] (hereinafter: “ Webshop ”).
- This Webshop Privacy Statement may be revised regularly. The most recent text is the version that you can find on Our Webshop. When We make changes, we will inform you of the adjustments via Our Webshop.
- In Our Webshop Privacy Statement, the term “ Personal Data ” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. LEADLIFE may collect, use, share or otherwise process Personal Data of individuals who purchase Leadlife Products, Services or Courses through the Webshop. Visitors to the Website and Potential Partners can obtain more information regarding the processing of their Personal Data in the Website Privacy Statement.
- The collection and processing of Personal Data is subject to strict conditions. LEADLIFE acts in accordance with:
- the European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of Personal Data (hereinafter “ GDPR ”); and/or
- all (future) Belgian laws implementing this Regulation or relating to the processing of Personal Data.
- Using the Webshop implies that you fully and unreservedly accept this Webshop Privacy Statement. This means that you are aware of how LEADLIFE collects, uses and processes your Personal Data in accordance with the provisions of this Webshop Privacy Statement and for the purposes set out in this Webshop Privacy Statement.
- This Webshop Privacy Statement only applies to the pages on the Website that belong to the Webshop and to the direct marketing that LEADLIFE It does not apply to the pages and websites of third parties to which LEADLIFE would refer or provide a link and whose privacy statement may differ. LEADLIFE collects and processes your Personal Data primarily to enable the purchase of Leadlife Products, Services and Courses via the Webshop.

3.2 Direct marketing
When you make a purchase in the Webshop, your Personal Data may be used for direct marketing purposes, based on the legitimate interest of LEADLIFE and in accordance with this Webshop Privacy Statement. This allows LEADLIFE to inform you, by means of its newsletter, LEADLIFE package, e-mails, letters by post and other media, about similar products and services that LEADLIFE offers.
You may at any time, free of charge and without giving any reason, object to receiving such emails or mail by clicking on the unsubscribe button at the end of a promotional email or by sending an email to privacy@leadlife.com .
3.3 Statistical purposes
Your data may be further used in aggregated form for statistical purposes.
3.4 Transfer to third parties
LEADLIFE treats Personal Data as confidential information and will not disclose or communicate it to third parties under any condition or for any purpose other than stated in this Webshop Privacy Statement, or under the conditions imposed on Us by law.
LEADLIFE may share your Personal Data with Leadlife BV and/or the relevant Leadlife Partner(s) to the extent that you have purchased a Product(s), Service(s) and/or Course(s) from Leadlife BV and/or Leadlife Partners.
Furthermore, LEADLIFE may disclose your Personal Data to third parties to the extent necessary to conduct Our business activities, including but not limited to suppliers and service providers who offer services related to IT support, hosting, computer security or other specific services. In no event will these third parties disclose your Personal Data to other third parties, except in the following situations:
- The communication of your Personal Data by these third parties to their suppliers or subcontractors is necessary for them to carry out their business activities;
- Such third parties are required by applicable laws or regulations to provide certain information or documents to the competent authorities.
In order to perform its services, LEADLIFE will in any case have to share your Personal Data with its processors or suppliers, for example in the context of maintenance and support.
LEADLIFE will not sell, rent, distribute or otherwise make your Personal Data commercially available to third parties, except as provided in this Webshop Privacy Statement, or when you have given your prior explicit consent.
In the event of a total or partial reorganization or transfer of LEADLIFE's activities, whereby LEADLIFE reorganizes, merges, transfers shares, ceases its business activities or in the event LEADLIFE goes bankrupt, your Personal Data may be transferred to new entities or third parties. LEADLIFE will make every effort to inform you, if reasonably possible, in advance of the fact that LEADLIFE will transfer your Personal Data to a third party.
3.5 Legal obligations
It may occur in exceptional circumstances that We must disclose your Personal Data as a result of a court order or to comply with other mandatory laws or regulations. We will make reasonable efforts to inform you in advance of this, unless this is subject to legal restrictions.
Article 4 – DURATION OF THE PROCESSING
LEADLIFE will retain your Personal Data for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes listed in Article 3 of this Webshop Privacy Statement, including for as long as it is essential for the contractual relationship between you and LEADLIFE.
LEADLIFE may also retain your Personal Data to comply with legal requirements, including requirements to retain your Personal Data after termination of the contractual relationship between you and LEADLIFE. This includes applicable statutes of limitations for billing, payment, accounting, tax and regulatory compliance purposes. Therefore, the retention periods set out below may be waived if such legal obligation applies.

5.1 Right of access and inspection
You have the right to access your Personal Data and the use We make of your Personal Data at any time or to ask Us for information about your Personal Data. Requesting a copy of your Personal Data is an example of this.
5.2 Right to rectification, erasure and restriction
You are free to choose whether or not to share certain Personal Data with Us.
You always have the right to request Us to amend or complete your Personal Data if it is incorrect or incomplete.
You may also request that the processing of your Personal Data be restricted if you believe that your data is inaccurate and you subsequently notify Us thereof, the processing is unlawful, the data is no longer needed or you have objected.
In addition, you have the right to request LEADLIFE to delete your data to the extent that We are unable to anonymize it, unless We are required to retain it on the basis of a legal obligation that rests on Us.
However, it may be the case that if you refuse to provide certain Personal Data, or if you ask Us to delete it, We will no longer be able to provide Our Services in an optimal manner.
5.3 Right to object
You also have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data when you have serious and legitimate reasons to do so.
You also have the right to object to the use of your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes. In this case, no specific justification will be requested.
You have the right to request to obtain your Personal Data processed by Us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and/or to transfer it to other controllers.
You have the right to withdraw your prior consent to the processing of your Personal Data without any detriment where the processing of your Personal Data is based on your consent.
5.6 Automated decisions and profiling
You have the right to request Us not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

5.8 Right to lodge a complaint
You also have the right to file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, which is the data protection authority under which LEADLIFE falls:

This does not affect a provision before a civil court.
If you are from or work in an EU Member State other than Belgium, you can also file a complaint with your national data protection authority. If you suffer damage as a result of the processing of your Personal Data, you can file a claim for compensation.
Article 6 – SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
LEADLIFE takes the protection of your Personal Data seriously and takes appropriate measures at a technical, organizational and physical level to prevent destruction, loss, falsification, modification, unauthorized access or accidental notification of your data to a third party, as well as the unauthorized processing of this data.
Should We nevertheless determine that a breach of your Personal Data has occurred and that this results in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, LEADLIFE will inform you about the breach that has occurred, including a description of the potential impact and a recommendation to limit the possible negative consequences of the breach.
However, LEADLIFE is not liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from incorrect or unlawful use of your Personal Data by a party other than LEADLIFE.
At the same time, you are also jointly responsible for maintaining your privacy, for example by not giving third parties access to your confidential communications.
Article 7 – APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT COURT
This Webshop Privacy Statement shall be governed, construed and executed in accordance with Belgian law, which shall apply exclusively.
The courts of the jurisdiction of East Flanders, Ghent division, have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any dispute arising from the interpretation or implementation of this Webshop Privacy Statement.
